Spring Flower Color Matching

I have been practicing colors with my 21 month old going on two year old (WHAT?) son quite a bit lately, and it is so fun to watch him learn. Our little ones minds are sponges!! Even when they aren't quite able to verbalize everything completely, they are learning. Learning more than we even realize. They are constantly building connections in their brains through daily conversations and all of the activities and play we engage in with them.

Today, we worked on a little color matching with a flower activity I made for him! This activity includes 10 different colors: red, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, pink, brown, black, and gray. Don't feel like you need to start with them all! Your older toddlers can probably handle all the colors, but your younger ones may only be able to handle the primary colors.

Here are what the pages look like!

1. Cut out the colors
2. Cut out the flowers
3. Place one color on the lower part of the flower pot
4. Have your little place the correct color of flowers "inside" the pot!

Here are two different ways we played! One with the flower pot printable, one without!
