Snow Painting and Play

Playing in snow outside is fun for our littles but why does it seem like it’s extra fun when they get to play with it inside??

Grab a bucket of snow and some spoons and scoops and let them go at it! Don’t forget to put a towel underneath for easy clean up :)

Painting the snow just steps it up a notch to add in even more fun and excitement.

Snow painting supplies:

  • snow

  • bucket or baking pan (we used round cake pans)

  • food coloring or watered down paint

  • muffin pan to add in the paint or food coloring

  • brush

	1.	Put the snow in pan or bucket of choice
	2.	Add food coloring and water or paint and water to the muffin pan. Mix!
	3.	Give your little the snow, paintbrush, and paint mixture on a towel
	4.	Have fun!

My boys (of course) added in Dino’s and trucks after they finished painting the snow for more play!

Another fun way to paint the snow would be to use an eye drop, turkey baster, or even a spray bottle filled with color of choice!
