Let's Get Messy - Fall Edition!

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Our littles LOVE to paint, we parents love the joy it brings them but not the mess..! The holidays are such a fun time to have themed activities, especially when it comes to painting. Here are a few easy and fun painting activities for your littles to do this season.

  • Pumpkin painting is an obvious one. Get a small or big pumpkin from your local grocery store, a pumpkin patch, or farmer's market around your town.

  • Cookie cutters are another great tool to use for something different for your littles to enjoy some painting and messy time. All you need are some cookie cutters, paint, and paper (or cardboard would work too).

  1. Add paint to a tin pan or paper plate

  2. Put a stamp in each pan

  3. Stamp the paper!

  • The boys and I went for a leaf walk one day and collected all sorts of leaves. You could put those leaves on paper and paint around them to create leaf shapes! Or you could even paint on the leaves to create a stamp. This is a great alternative to the leaf cookie cutters, if you do not have access to them!

And of course, Pinterest never fails to give a million more ideas. Here are a few favorites that we have not tried yet!
