Halloween and Fall Fun!

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Because these are my first created activities, bear with me! They aren't perfectly beautiful, but they do the job.

I have created a few free downloadable templates to enjoy with your littles.

Counting Pumpkins is a fun way to incorporate counting and fine motor skills.

To play, all you need is SOMETHING you can stack, linking cubes (linked below) are my favorite. Practice counting and stacking the cubes on each number.

Pumpkin Race - another activity to work on counting and number recognition. I found these cute pumpkins and foam dice at the dollar store.

Use one dice to work on numbers 1-6 or two to work on 2-12. Roll, count the dots, then cover the number with whatever manipulative you choose! Snacks, pumpkins, counters.

Acorn Name - Here I created some acorns with the letters in my son's name. I laminated the acorns and then added sticky magnets on the back. He could practice spelling his name by hanging them on the fridge or by putting them on a baking sheet, as we did below.

After he practiced his name a few times, I added some rice to the pan to help him draw the letters in the rice. Because making or writing letters isn't something we've worked on, I guided his finger to create the letters.

I added the editable template because obviously your child's name isn't the same as mine!

Name practice and sensory BONUS!
