"Crankenstein"

Okay, my boys are seriously obsessed with this book and I don't know why! They think it is SO funny. Of course because we read it all the time I decided to do a Frankenstein art project with them! This was a BLAST!

This was an art project that wasn't necessarily open-ended painting for the boys because it required me painting their little hands. However, after we were done with the hand painting, I printed off a free Frankenstein coloring sheet for them!

All you need for the Frankenstein art is:

  • your hands

  • green and black paint

  • black marker

  • googly eyes

  • white paper

  1. Read "Crankenstein" by Samantha Berger or listen and watch on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyINfmOVNzQ)

  2. Paint the palm of your hand green and your fingers black

  3. Press hand firmly against the paper. Don't be afraid of imperfections. All hands are different, so all Frankensteins will look different!

  4. While waiting for the paint to dry, the boys did some coloring (https://www.coloringall.com/coloring-pages/frankenstein/easy-frankenstein-face/ )

  5. When paint is dry, add mouth, googly eyes, and bolts to neck

Enjoy this fun Frankenstein Halloween activity! It turned out SO CUTE
